Several citizens were honoured. Monica Bourque was the senior citizen of the year, Chelsey Dempsey was the Youth Achievement Award winner, and Junior Firefighter for the duration of Belledune Days is Colby Furlotte. Colby wore a dress uniform jacket that was made in 1983 or 1984 when Penny Hickey held a similar position for the former Jacquet River Fire Deparment. She had saved the jacket all these years and allowed it to be used for the revival of the event.
